PLANNING OF WAYS OF EXPLOITING THE PARK AREA, AND ENTRANCE TO LAKE TOVEL

Experimental actions aimed at preventing visitors’ overcrowding around the lake banks are provided, according to a specific study on traffic regulation to Val di Tovel and according to the observation on the park visitors. Inside the structural interventions of this work project, the setting up of a modern and efficiently organized “Park Visitors’ Centre” has been provided too.


EXPECTED RESULTS
A) Improving the traffic regulations to Val di Tovel by reduction of car passage;
B) Defining a proper parking system,mainly in relation to the access to Val di Tovel;
C) Defining new forms for the touristic demand organization, as to let the visitors enjoy the benefits of an unspoilt environment with satisfactory facilities;

ACTIVITIES
- Study on traffic and parking regulations;
- Experimentation of alternative forms for the touristic demand organization;
- Setting up a visitors’ centre aimed at welcoming visitors to Val di Tovel;

The Director of the Park, Dr Ferrari, the Vice-Mayor of Tuenno, Dr Mrs Marinello and the Chief Principal of the Tovel Agreement Dr Filippi, presented during a Press conference the provisional equipment for the Visitor Centre in the Tovel Valley, pending reconstruction work.
