PLANNING OF WAYS OF EXPLOITING THE PARK AREA, AND ENTRANCE TO LAKE TOVEL

Experimental actions aimed at preventing visitors’ overcrowding around the lake banks are provided, according to a specific study on traffic regulation to Val di Tovel and according to the observation on the park visitors. Inside the structural interventions of this work project, the setting up of a modern and efficiently organized “Park Visitors’ Centre” has been provided too.

During the summer months, lake visitors will be interviewed to gather data about traffic and parking conditions in Val di Tovel. The data gathered through the questionnaires will serve as important factors for fixing a future traffic planning, what we all hope will contribute to make the fruition of the valley more sustainable. The gathered results and the first proposals will be discussed with the resident population in autumn.
